Digital X-rays

• Digital X-Ray or radiographs is an advanced technology that allows our staff to better see bone structure and some soft tissue with less radiation.

• The advantages of digital x-rays or radiographs:

  • Visual data is ready to view sooner which means your pet receives treatment quicker.

  • Use less radiation than traditional x-rays which healthier for your pet.

  • Ability to see more than traditional x-rays due to image manipulation for better contrast.

  • Pet parents receive a copy of the images for their primary care veterinarian’s reference.

Ultrasounds

• We are proud to offer ultrasound because it is a quick and painless procedure. Ultrasounds are often better than radiographs because they do not give off any harmful radiation.

• Sound waves are used to look inside your pets, allowing us to diagnose them. The resulting images are better than radiographs, and several conditions can be diagnosed only with an ultrasound.
