Dr. Abilene Gallegos was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Horizon High School and attended New Mexico State University where she earned a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. Dr. Gallegos went on to attend Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her DVM degree. While in vet school, Dr. Gallegos developed her passion for soft tissue surgery, behavior, and physical rehabilitation. Dr. Gallegos is excited to practice in the Sun City and help strengthen the human-animal bond with her clients and patients.
In her free time, Dr. Gallegos enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her many fur babies. Dr. Gallegos pack consists of three cats (Violet, Dahlia, and Lily), 3 dogs (Bernie, Benji and Luka) and her miniature pony Serranito.
